Conflict Resolution Alternative Methods

He is a lawyer, graduated in 1985 at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Bogotá. With specialization in Conflict Mediation at the University Institute KURT BOSCH IUKB (Switzerland), and the Universidad de La Sabana, with studies of Alternative Methods of Conflict Resolution.

His experience of more than 20 years has been focused on Negotiation, Conciliation and Arbitration before the Bogota’s Chamber of Commerce, with more than 1,300 concluded conciliation hearings, 14 Arbitration Courts. With background in his capacity of Mediator at the International CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF PARIS  (C.C.I)), the WORLD INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ORGANIZATION (OMPI), the ASSOCIATION FOR CONFLICT RESOLUTION (ACR), the IBERO-AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF PRIVATE LAW (AIDP, Spanish Initials) and the COLOMBIAN COMMITTEE OF ARBITRATION (CCA).

He has performed the teaching activity on undergraduate studies on the subject of  Negotiation and Conciliation at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana as well as post graduate studies at same university, and also at universities of Colegio Mayor del Rosario University, Sergio Arboleda, La Sabana, National University, Pontificia Universidad Bolivariana, Universidad Industrial de Santander; he also was lecturer at other national and international universities and Commerce Chambers of the cities of Bogotá, Cali, Bucaramanga, Medellin and Barranquilla.
